We had the wonderful privilege of pitching Ramoth House to a group of women from the 100 Women Who Care - Grey and Bruce County chapter in Southhampton on November 4, 2017. The concept of this organization is to gather a 100 women in your community, commit to meeting four times a year for one hour, listen to three organizations give a five minute pitch about their work and each member writes a cheque for $100 to the group-voted organization at each meeting. The beauty of the concept is the simplicity of it. This is a great example of how we can come together to invest in the communities we live in and make an impact. This particular chapter in Grey and Bruce is looking for more members and would love to have you join. If you'd like more information visit their website at https://www.100womengreybruce.com/ . A big thank you to Dr. Karen Baker for her nomination of Ramoth House and to this group who raised $2800 in less than one hour for Ramoth! With these funds we will be replacing our kitchen floor at Ramoth House in the new year. Our hearts are full of gratitude for the impact 28 women made on our organization and in the lives of our moms and little ones.
